Event: API verzoeken (http request) (EN)

This functionality is available with release 1.9.10 or higher.

For alarm and modulation detection it is also possible to run one or more http-frequests to an url.

The URL must comply with RFC 1738. The following urls are supported by the silence detection:

  • http and https requests (for https, TLS 1.2)

  • The url must be absolute and may have paths.

  • If no port is mentioned in the url, 80 or 443 is taken (http or https)

  • url may contain a query (?value=value&value2=value2)

The following http methods (verbs) are supported:

  • Get

  • Put

  • Post

  • Delete

Which does not send content as a body with Put and Post.

The settings are in alarm settings → alarm or modulation → API request and click on "settings"

  • Add/adjust/delete urls are the options to add, modify and delete urls

  • Higher/lower urls can be moved up or down in the list. The requests will be executed in list order if checked for alarm or modulation.

The detail window asks for it:

  • the url

  • method

  • in case of alarm and/or modulation

In case of an alarm, the alarm screen will indicate which url's have been addressed with the http result of the server. In case of modulation the result can be seen in the logfile.
